What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a SIM that's built into your phone. Instead of a plastic card, you add a plan by scanning a QR code.

Will my phone work?

You need a phone that supports eSIM and isn't locked to a carrier. Many recent iPhones and Android phones do. Check your phone's settings or ask your carrier.

Do I have to remove my regular SIM?

No. On most eSIM phones, your regular SIM stays in place and your trip plan runs alongside it. Turn off data roaming on your home line to avoid roaming charges.

How do I get my eSIM?

After your payment is confirmed, we email you a QR code. You scan it in your phone's settings to install the plan.

When should I install it?

Install it while you have Wi-Fi, ideally before you travel. Your plan details will say when the plan starts.

Where does it work?

Kavsim is launching with plans for visiting the US. We plan to add Canada. Coverage for each plan will be shown before you buy.
